When Less Is More: Why The Minimalist Trend Still Rules

This season, when it comes to minimalism, we have a tendency for simple silhouettes, clean lines and muted palettes. These defining features are not only easy to wear but also closet staples, whether that be a pair of light-as-a-feather flats or the classic white shirt that can be worn every season. Simplicity and luxury combine to great effect in creating a pared-down chic street style, with comfort and practicality also largely contributing to the trend. Even our accessories are pared down – from slim bar necklaces to basic tote bags, the trend towards minimalism urges us to buy basic yet investment pieces that will keep you stylish all year long. The main thing to remember? Less is definitely more.

When it comes to minimalist jewellery, it’s all about the finer details. Minimalist accessories are a great way to finish off any outfit, keeping your look simple and stylish. Less is always more when it comes to showcasing fine jewellery, created from geometric shapes, fine lines and soft metal finishes.

Style Idea –

Pair your favourite high waisted wide leg pants (culottes) with a loose fitting cropped top for a casual, chic look. The pastel/white on white trend is also timeless and fresh. Add similar coloured accessories  and flats and you’re all set for an effortlessly stylish weekend.
