On the evening of Tuesday 17th of May, day 2 of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Jennifer Kate showcased their international resort collection at Byron Kennedy Hall, Fox Studios Moore Park.
Designer and founder of Jennifer Kate, Jennifer McCloy designed these statement pieces in collaboration with fashion illustrator Aaron Favaloro. The antithesis to fast fashion labels, these pieces are striking with unique prints, intricate detailing, fresh and clean cut lines with impeccable finishes. These aren’t seasonal pieces – these are investment pieces that you can treasure season after season.
Jennifer Kate’s latest collection was partnered with UGG Ozlana, which brought to the runway custom-made brogue shoes.
Clothing highlights were the elegant cut out silhouettes from her signature suede and leather in bold colours burgundy, red and green. The simple sophistication of the clothing and Aaron’s artwork spoke for itself.
Jennifer Kate worked with Bobbi Brown for make-up and Redken for hair, a natural and beautiful, fresh and radiant look that complimented the clothing impeccably. Hair director Richard Kavanagh brought to the runway a sleek and modern twist to a traditional up-do.
The Jennifer Kate girls roamed the circular runway, which was decorated with a life size floral installation created by Mr. Cook from a vision by The Artistry
